Careful using a 318 computer on a 360 though....all of the cold start-up enrichment and wide-open will stay the same as they don't listen to the 02 sensor (which is what compensates the closed-loop, normal driving) and as they use the same size injectors you'll likely run into some trouble there. Mopar sells a weight kit to ballance a flexplate to 360 specs, though i can't remember if this is for the magnum series or not....

You can buy a balancing kit if you're up to determining where to mount it. However, the Mopar 360 Magnum flexplate is only like $40 new and is set up perfectly for the 360 magnum. Removes all of the guesswork out of the deal.

Also, if you're gonna buy a 360 to rebuild, get the crankshaft damper and flexplate with it. If the flexplate does not have any cracks or damage use it and save the money.

The Jeep 360 will have a different compression ratio because it is a completely different engine. I have a 80 Cherokee with an AMC 360 and nothing from Mopar will fit it. But I am used to that since I have a 98 Ram 2500 with a V-10 and nobody makes anything for it either
