water or liquid inside the component inside, when i am driving or in motion i hear water moving, my ac is not working and my heater smells like moisture

i have that same noise in the morning when i start my truck up and let it run then when i start moving i hear the water noise then it goes away quickly i have a 1997 Ram 2500 5.9L

I believe that means there is air in the cooling system/heater core. Needs to be bled out.

EDIT: If you use the search function at the top of the website, you can find several posts dealing with exactly how to get the air out of the system.

Let us know if that helps you guys at all.

Yup air in the system check and make sure you don't need to top off your coolant.

the sound of water sloshing or gurgling is an indication of air in the cooling system, and the noise is coming from the heater core, which is behind the dash on the passenger side.

steam and/or smell and/or fogging of the windshield is an indication of a leaking heater core. which explains the sloshing/gurgling. when coolant comes out, then air gets in.

do a search here on heater core. its one of the tougher repairs, or more expensive ones to have done. there are some DIY instructions floating around.
