Default Seat motors

My 95 2500 ram has power seats and one of them on the drivers seat has gone bad. It is one of them that moves the seat back and forward. Does anybody know where i can get a new one from besides the dealer?

Try a good NAPA parts store. My local one has motors for wipers, windowsheater blowers etc.... If they dont have it in stock my guess is they have a supplier for them. Get the #'s off the old one if u can a take those with you. Good luck

Default RE: Seat motors

I would suggest trying to fix the old one, could be a simple fix like a bad connection. When I got my newer seats, on of the motors wasn't working, and since it would have been impossible to find a direct replacement, or get a similar one to work with the seats, I took apart the original one and fixed it. It ended up two plates for one of the brushes broke apart, so I cleaned them, soldered them together, and now the motor works as good as new.

Good luck!
