Default check engine light codes

My wonderful check engine light came on today. I remember that with other computer controlled Mopars I've owned, the first thing to check is the gas cap, which I removed, then tightened, then started the truck and the light went off. I also remember that if I turn the ignition on and off three times, the light will flash a code. It gave me 3 then 2. Does anyone have the interpretation of this code?

Edelbrock Pro Flo 14x3 round air filter

sorry i cant tell you exactly what that code may be, but it sounds like it would be worth a trip to your local auto parts dealer. Most these days offer free code reading. i have had an off and on engine light problem lately myself. had it checked and it showed an o2 sensor...when i complained that the sensor was only a couple years old the guy suggested ignoring it, that he has been seeing tons of the same problem of late...his explanation involved the higher gas prices forcing refineries to put out lower grades of fuelsand hince the computer seems to address this as a potential problem...i dont know if this is a valid ideal or not but it does seem to go away on its own...good luck with your problem, hope its a minor fix.

1995 Rams have the older OBD I system, so I had to do a bit of searching, but:

According to dodgeram.info, and I confirmed it with a couple other Mopar oriented website, that means...

Fault Code 32 - EGR Solenoid Circuit - Short or open in the EGR solenoid circuit. Check for loose, broken, or shorted wire in the EGR valve wiring and connectors. Possible air fuel ratio imbalance not detected during diagnosis.

So yeah, thats what I'd do. The dodgeram.info site also states that the "Check engine lamp may not illuminate at all times if this code was recorded."

Thanks for the info. After I tried the old gas cap trick, the light has been out for 2 days. I pulled codes again and found only code 33 and according to the web site you sent, it's the A/C circuit, which I knew does not work. Thanks
