Default RE: replacing the radio antenna on a 1998 dodge ram

I had to do mine twice. My wife likes automated car washes.
I got the replacement from the dealer; They're not expensive.
There is a splice under the glove box around the kick panel...it's been a while. Just trace the cable.
The cable feeds through the fender and firewall; The replacement had a new grommet already installed.
Once you pull the old one out, the new one goes in the same way.

I remembered something else. I tied a string to the connector inside. Then whenthe cablewas pulled out, I tied it to the new connector and used it to pull the new line through the firewall.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
