wiper problem

Default wiper problem

my 2001 dodge ram wipers have been perfect until this week, it goes on but it stops and i have to play with controls to get it going. Anyone have a clue or answer?

it might be a bad multifunction switch on the steering column, not sending power out to the motor. or it might be a bad motor. i'd check for power out at the wiper motor first. remove wiper arms, plastic cowl to expose motor. there should be 4 wires - high speed, low speed, park circuit (comes on with low and high), and ground. if you have power present when its acting up, then its a bad motor.
