Good luck! When you find out let me know 'cause mine has done it for a few years and I have never been able to find it.

Mine was leaking rain through the third brake light. New gasket +some RTV = dry interior.

On some trucks the light is the culprit, but on mine it wasn't. However I did have water coming in through there. You are correct about fixing that area if it has not been done. I certainly would try that first.

Yup mines gotten a little wet from time to time, at first I thought it was just coffee (my travel mug has a bad habbit of falling over into the passenger side) but nope its water!

But if the third brake late is the culprit, why is the front floorboard wet? Unless it goes through the roof, without leaking into the head liner; and down the pillar, without shorting out the tweeder, and then down onto the floorboard!

I had a problem with my driver's side leaking because the door wouldn't close properly on the outer weather seal. While in the bed of the truck check the side that isn't leaking carefully and pay attention to where you see the gaps in the top of the doors and the seal. then go to the other side and check the seal there and see if you notice any differences.

Another common problem is for the AC evap canister drain tube on the passenger side firewall to plug up with a sort of slimy gunk and the water will run into cab on the passenger side floor board and soak the carpet. You can usually unplug it by running a coat hanger up it and unclog the tube. If it is the slime problem, it will probably come back, but you can try to get rid of it permanently with a type of enzyme cleaner that they use in the catch trays of window air conditioning units.
