So can anyone please explain to me what the deal is with the factory off road package on the 2000 dodge ram truck, and why every lift kit i look at says will not fit factory off road equiped trucks, and if the lift kit fits it says it will take away an inch of lift. What can I do to get a true lift. I dont want no body lift.

 

The "off road" package gives you, I believe, a 1.5 to 2 inch lift over non-Off Road packaged Dodge Rams. Thats why it won't fit in some cases, because the off road models already have a small lift.
