Default Silver - What filter are you using?

Silver, I'm just checking up on which filter you have been using lately for your round air cleaner. Which size, etc? Been thinking about replacing mine as it seems pretty beat up/dirty and I'm not sure if I want to go with another paper or go with the K&N one. I noticed your filter was 12.75" in diameter, mine is I believe 13.75" (Mr. Gasket), and 3" in height. Haven't seen any of those on the K&N website.

You know there are other people using the AC ?? and since some of us use the mopar performance AC the #s will be useless to you , you got MR gasket AC ?? then its a 14x 2 or 14x 2 1/2 .. So on KN web site you will be looking for a 14x 2- 3 no higher then 3" , but if you are sooooo sure its a 13.75" /13 3/4"
i found the KN filter less then a min..

Ya I know others use it, but I remembered he was talking about different filters to use so I was curious to see which one he has been using. Yeah the Mr. Gasket comes with a 2.5 or so, but I ended up getting two AC's and I swapped the filters, so I'm using a 13.75 x 3, which I do not see on the website.

I use a paper filter made by Purolator that is 12.75 x 2.75. You could have just sent me a PM.

Have you tried filters with different heights? Notice any difference?

No, i haven't tried larger filters because noone makes one that fits the Mopar setup. The 12.75" is an odd size. There are some 12.50" filters that sorta fit, so I might try some of those in a larger size, but I doubt it would make a huge difference.
