Default what does your ram run (temp)?
I just got a '97 360 ram and I noticed that the temp gauge showed about 220 on the gauge. It stayed there and didn't go up anymore.
This is pretty hot isn't it? It has radiator fluid, what else could it be? What temp are the ram's suppose to run at?

I have a 2001 5.9 it runs around 190 or 200,maybe check your themostat.

205 ,with the stock stat 195 degree , 220 is a little hot mite have a stuck stat .. i have 180 degree stat and the e-fans to come on at 200...

Another thing to check would be your fan clutch.
