Monday Ill be taking posession of an 87 mustang gt from my neighbor. 48,000 miles, original owner, all doccumentation. Still got the truck. Just needs a new seat bracket and trans. Cant beat it for $1800

droooool. pics please. im the owner of three foxbody stangs and i love em to death, all they need are heads to make power. dropped aluminum heads on mine and bam its f'n quick. nevermind the 6k i also spent on it

Nice man...I've got the '86 T-bird with the 5.0 and I get usually 24-25 mpg's regularly. The highest I've ever seen was 27 and this is mostly highway driving. I know the stangs are tuned a little different, but it should get you at least 20. That sounds like you got a great deal...We need pics!!

That looks great man...Put some new wheels, cowl hood, and tint the windows and it will definitely be a looker. You see, I am already making plans for it haha. Sounds and looks like you got a great deal and the aftermarket is almost limitless for those cars. Enjoy!!!
