Default 97 dodge ram starting problem...

just got my truck put back together after 5 years. First it was the starter messed up (fixed) then 180 off on timing (fixed) then fuel pump (fixed) I checked for fuel pressure and wasnt getting any to the motor so I flushed the line as good as I could and now when I unhook the line from the motor it will spray across the room... now it will spin over like crazy and get so close to cranking (like the sound and way it acts right before starting up) I pour gas in the TB and it cranks and runs til its gone... WTF could be wrong!?!?! I got a 506 lift cam and flowmasters and am dying to hear it RUN please help!!

Well if the fuel line was that clogged , I'd have to say the fuel rail and or injectors are clogged too.

Zman is right...the first thing to check is the fuel rail and injectors...sounds like something is causing it NOT to get fuel....
Keep me posted on the issue!!!

Another thing, make sure to actually check the fuel psi. I had a situation once where it would do exactly what you said as far as shooting gas across the driveway, but it wasn't actually putting out enough pressure to feed the injectors, and that was on a TBI! Mine was a bad fuel pump on a S10 Blazer. Just make sure to check the actual px not just eyeball it...it would have saved me a lot of headache if I hadn't just assumed my px was good.

Is there a fuel regulator up on the rail?I havent messed with my dodge that much... runs good... but the Jeep I had, had a regulator up on the rail where the fuel line came in. Gave me the same type of problem.
