Yea I gonna have mine replaced soon,&nbsp\\;I am leaking coolant out of the timing chain cover so while its down its gonna get replaced.

Might as well do the chain and gears with the water pump because you're more than half way there anyway. From what tou guys said, my '96 5.2 153K or so needs it - idle not quite right & lag on throttle response.

Will it actually go and I'll need a tow? My '69 Coronet 440 5.2 (318) had nylon teeth on the camshaft gear and the teeth broke at 126K. The replacement was steel teeth. Are the '96 factory gears the same or steel?
