I broke my dipstick inside the tube. How can I remove the tube from the engine and replace it with a new one. I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500. Thanks

Call me an idiot if you like, and don't take offense by this, but how do you break the dipstick inside the tube?

if u follow the tube down to where it goes into the block u should see theres a bolt holding it on. loosen the bolt and pull up. its that simple

the bolt should be right there on the side of the alternator bracket
