Haha I'd guess they have something to do with it however not a problem to just put it in 4wd to get out. I've been in pletny of other trucks I've had to put in 4wd or seen have to be put into 4wd to get out of situations like that.

I have an Auburn LSD in the rear of mine and I love it. You never notice it onroad but it sure has made a difference offroad.

Check the factory tag under the hood, it will tell you what diffs you have and gear ratio.

Dodge did equip some 4x4 with front and rear LSD. They called it a "Trac-Loc" differential. Mine has it and I'd bet many others do too.

Check the tag.

Aren't they usually just in the rear. I've never heard of one in the front from the factory but I could have just never heard of it I guess.

I pretty much can't bank on anything my doors or hood say. A couple of the doors and hood were replaced from the loser who owned this truck before. He obviously had a little too much fun in the truck and had to visit the junkyard a few times.

Most people never notice because of the CAD. It is essentially an open diff untill you go into 4lo.
