Default Need to pull the bottom vacuum pull on heater housing. HELP!

Howdy all,

Well it was 104 heat index down here today,[:'(] and my Air is blowing out the bottom of the heater housing. I have the 12 dollar plastic piece that is broke, but need to know how to remove the bottom vacuum pull to put it in. Dealer says pull the dash and the heater housing and get a big bill. can it be removed with the heater housing in the truck? can you tell me how? Almost forgot it is a 2001 Ram 1500 SLT quad cab.

Thanks,

Sam
