2001 1500 Trans question...
I have a 2001 Ram Extended Cab 1500 4x4 and it developed a problem... As I am going down the road with my foot consistant on the peddle, the truck slips out of overdrive and back in with in a half second. I first thought that the trans needed rebuilding. I took it to a buddies hot rod shop and had the trans totally rebuilt. Problem still exists! So from there we put the computer on it and put it on the dyno and it acted up for us and back probed the crank shaft sensor and it was putting out some strange output on a lab scope so we changed out the crank shaft sensor and well, still acting the same.... Now I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue and could shed some light on this gloomy situation? PLEASE HELP!!!
