Default Changing the oil pump..

Would it be possible to change the oil pump without having to lift the motor?

Yes, just drop the oil pan.

The FSM says you will need to rasie the engine, but you don't. When you go to reinstall the pan, tie each corner of the oil pan gasket to the oil pan with string and it won't wiggle when you try to wedge it back up in place. Then cut the string and pull it out before the final tightening.
