1999 front bumper on a 1998

I want to fit a 1999 dodge ram sport front bumper on a 1998 dodge ram sport. Is this possible without major modification? If not what will I need to mod?Thanks in advance.

Check the dodge catalog at lmctruck.com. If the bumpers they sell for the sport models are from 98-01 you're probably good to go. If it says 99-01 you're probably in for a headache.

im doing this swap also.... Everything is the same, may just have to extend the fog light wires some. You may want to see about the grille, they may be different and it conflict with or look fugly with the new bumper... Im getting the girlle and bumper for mine

haha! i don't look at the dates. i saw this thread and jumped on it. i just want that front end and wanted to see if i would need some new brackets. i'm obviously a nube to this **** lol
