Default A/C issue

My buddyrecently purchased an a/c charge kit for his 95 ram 1500 and its not chargingthe system. im thinking that theres an issue with something along all the ac components. First off, when i turnthe ac on full blast, the clutch will engage and then disengage every 10 seconds. It will do this even if i pull the high pressure connector and complete the circuit with a jumper wire. Does this meanhis compressor is shot?? Even ifhe had a leak somewhere along the condensor or lines, shouldnt that ac clutch be engaged at all times after jumping the pressure swith? Any help would be just great.

You do not jump the high pressure switch. It's the low side you want to jump.

DO NOT JUMP THE HIGH SIDE SWITCH! Jump the low side switchon top of the drier canister, passenger side right next to PCM.

The High side swtich kills the compressor if you overfill so you don't blow compressor seals. Don't defeat this safety feature.
