I am tired of changing out the intake manifold gasket, this is the third time coming now that it needs changed. I only get about 5000 miles out of it before i start seeing oil in the intake.
Does anyone know of an after market direct bolt on match up to all the componets intake manifold???
if not why is it that the plenum gasket keeps blowing out?

You should never have to replace the plenum gasket again. The intake manifold is made of aluminum, I believe, the stock plate is steel. The different expansion/contraction temperatures between the two is what causes the plenum gasket to go bad. This plate is made of aluminum, just like the intake manifold.

the first time my plenum gasket went out i replaced it with the aluminum plate and after 10,000 miles it went out again.
this time i am going to weld the plate to the intake and see how long it will last.
there is know one piece intake for the 5.9
