Default new wheels and tires

well I ordered some new wheels and tires,

the wheels are black cragars with big holes on them they are 15x8 with 4inches backspacing

the tires are bf goodrich mudterrains, in 35x12.50-15

I know I am going to have to grind the calipers, so no one needs to tell me that, should have everything my next tuesday, I can't wait. Will post pics next week.

Man, I long for the days of having my old '98 RCSB 4x4. Nothing beats the look of a 35" tire on 15" wheels IMO.
I had to look forever for an '04 with the Laramie pkg. without those damn 20" wheels when I got mine. Turns out it didn't matter however, I replaced my stock 17s with Mickey Thompson 17s before the truck was a month old and I wish I could have gotten smaller wheels...

the smaller the wheel, makes the tire look so much bigger. The main reason I am doing it is just for the price

I have the same wheels and the same size tires. If you have the 4 inch backspacing with those wheels, you won't have th grind the calipers. Mine fit just fine.

awesome, I don't have a problem grinding them, but heck if I don't have too, then my warranty on my brakes will still be good.

Ain't that the truth. I would switch to a 15 inch wheel but it seems like all the tires in a 15 inch size are "C" load rated. where as the same tire in a 16 inch rim is D or E load rated.

well summitracing has about the fastest shipping ever. I already have the wheels and center caps, and hooray I don't have to grind anything. So I called the tire shop to see if the tires were in by chance(they weren't suppose to be here until monday), and they said that bfg mud terrains are on a national backup, and that I'd have to wait over a month, so I decided on a goodyear wrangler silent armor tire.

I am still going with 35x12.50's because of my 4.88s, They will be there next wednesday. For my trouble, the shop upgraded my tires to a road hazard warranty, so if i run over a nail, or a curb, or glass, or anything, for the life of the tire, I get a new tire.

And also the tires come with a 60,000 mile warranty, many people that gave reviews online, were getting 75,000miles when they rotated them every 10,000 miles.

So I guess the truck won't be a mud truck anymore, but I'm thinking of keeping my mud tires for hunting season, since thats the only time I go in the mud anyhow.
