Followup: Newer 20" wheels on my '97
A while back I installed the Edelbrock IAS shocks on my '97 (https://dodgeforum.com/m_1278648/tm.htm), ...and have been planning on going with the newer 20" Dodge wheels.
I finally got around to installing the wheels, ...here are some pics:

As per another member here (Squishy) I went with 285/50-20 tires, to keep the net diameter the same as the stock setup. The result, ...there is definitely no loss of power, ...and the speedo is still accurate.
The 20" wheels (moreso the reduced sidewall of the tires) combined with the Edelbrocks I installed previously made an incredible difference on how this truck handles. It's more predictable on turns, ...the steering response is dramatically improved, ...and it tracks like it's on rails. You do give up some of the ride softness, ...but not enough where ittakes away from theride.
Overall, ...I'm very pleased. Since they are Dodge wheels, ...they almost look like they belong on the truck.

Those do look very nice on that truck. I'm impressed.
BTW, were those pics taken in front of OCC's building? That logo looks familiar. Those guys are cool but Paul Sr. seems like he needs a good kick in the ***, judging by how much of an *** he is on the TV show.

Thanks for the comments,
...no lift kit, ...that's just the factory (4x4) setup.
...and that is the new OCC HQ building (in Newburgh, NY), ...not too far from me.
I don't know if Sr. just 'plays it up' on the show or that's just how he is. None-the-less, ...for some local welders, ...they hit the 'lottery'. The money they make in merchandising is HUGE...
