They are possibly better than another option, but not half as effective as getting the hood to seal to the filter. My idea was to create a fiberglas duct from the scoop to the throttle body/ filter. It was a little above my skills at the time, and now I dont have any intrest in it, but it doesnt look all that diffacult. (with proper drainage of course)

 

ohhh, yeah i was thinkin a tin sealed area but glass might work, damit i cant think of anything of how to set it up i got a round air cleaner on their now so im just working with force feeding it, not just air blowin by. should i cut a hole before i no how my setup is gonna be, i hate to be using a nonfunctional scoop
