Default PaceSetter LT Owners Inside Please

If you have a stock height (when headers were installed) 4x4 truck with the 5.9, did you have clearance issues on the driver's side header? The collector on the driver's side is preventing me from connecting my driveshaft from my transfer caseto my 4x4 unit. I know thatthese trucks had slightly different 4x4 systems offered in them so maybe that is the issue.

PaceSetter sent me another header but it doesn't look like it will fit either. They said that they did not modify it in any way from the mold that they used to create the header for these trucks and that if this one wouldn't fit, they do not know what to do.

Since they seem to be clueless when it comes to finding a solution, what do you think? Can the coating on the tubing take the necessary heat in order to bend the collector(and lower header)out of the way of the driveshaft? The mechanic that will be doing the install has access to a pipe bending machine but I'm just worried about the coating.

I'm no help cuz I don't have em, BUT, I have read 100's of threads on this forum including ones that mention Pacesetter long tube headers and have never seen anyone with that problem. Only thing I know for sure is if I bought something and it didn't work and the company could not tell me why , I would send them back and buy another brand.

I've got them, but my truck has a 3" body lift and 6" suspension lift. I had a slight bit of an issue getting the driver side in, but that is compared to the passenger side that had absolutely nothing in the way. The driver side was a little tighter, but with careful maneuvering, it went right in. Sorry I'm no help to you...
