I heard from a friend that in Texas, it's now illegal to run stacks on diesels and you can't have an exhausttip on your diesel truck either. Some kind of emissions BS. I can't find it anywhere on the internet, and I was wonderin if any of ya'll might know...?
never heard of it. most deisels around here have 5in or bigger tips or stacks but thats wisconsin. i think if it was an emissions issue wouldent they yell at semis to? or any deisel vehicle? besides if smoke aint rollin you aint pullin
I am probably wrong here but I seem to remember that diesels didn't fall under the emissions laws and that even though you see the smoke they actually burn cleaner with better emissions that gasoline vehicles.
im from cen-tex and we run all out exhaust with tips and there are plenty of diesals with stacks and no one has ever said ne thing, hell i live next to a sheriff and my truck and my roommates car are the loudest in the neigborhood and the guy across the street has massive tips on his diesal and nothing has ever been said, texas dont give a crap about emissions lol, but if u do find out something by all means plz let me know
