Default Bad ABS leak on 2001 Dodge 1500, anyone have any ideas?

So my buddy has a 2001 Dodge 1500 and there is a BAD leak coming from under the ABS module on the drivers side fenderwell. Where it's leaking from is a hex head type bolt that screws into the bottom. Now I would just tighten it up and call it a day (it could have just vibrated loose over the past 7 years) but something tells me it's got something to do with metering out how much fluid flows through or else they wouldn't have it (unless it's for an option he doesn't have and it's just there to block off an extra opening). Anyone have any ideas?[/align]

Here is a pic of a similar ABS unit and the part that is leaking is circled. I couldn't find a better picture, but maybe this will give ya'll some idea of where it is. Not quite sure of it's purpose.

That's the proportioning valve. You should be able to buy it separately. Probably dealer only unless you can find used.
