Default freon can exploding

need to recharge my ac and every time i use it the compressor isnt always on because it is so low. so the can gets lots of pressure and the pressure gauge says warning so my question is how dangerous is this. and how high of psi can i really go. the can gets ice cold in my hands what does this mean. thanks.

Remove the plug from the top of the accum/drier and jump it with a paper clip. This will keep the compressor running while you charge it. Pay attention to the gauge and make sure it doesn't get too high. Wear safety glasses and gloves.

If it's really low just put one can in and then remove the jumper from the plug and put it back on the drier, and then see how often it cycles.Repeat process until it just about stops cycling.

It is the black canister to the right of the PCM! And I have to tell you that I usually try to only give advice about the AC to peeps who atleast know the basics, I don't want you to get hurt! SO PLEASE BE CAREFULL!
