Default anybody in AZ w/ e-fans?

if there is do you guys have any problems with the heat in Phoenix? i want to get an e-fan to free up some hp and possibly some mpg. im just concerned with the extreme heat avg @ 114 F. let me know if there are any problems and what you used- permacool or junkyard (and which one). appreciate it!

94 here today. flexalite black magic 180. no problems. it flows 3300 cfm,if i did it again i would get one that flows 4000+.had a big post here for you had to shorten it. damn website.

I have the Cool Pak. I am in Fl. and it gets pretty hot here also. This is a great product with places for your resevours and it uses existing mounting holes used for the shroud. Easy install. You can seriously feel the air being pulled to the radiator from 8 to 10in away with your hand. Best thing of all it will free up some serious horsepower. You will notice right away. By far the best mod besides the ProCharger.

nice, i would love to use it but im on a budget, does anyone know of a junkyard one i could use? what cfm i need? im planning on a bunch of repairs/ mods to do at once and this is one of them. thanx

Search for Winstar here in the second gen forum. Those seem to work well. As does a Lincoln Mark VIII fan if you can find one.

list is oil change, plugs, cap, rotor, o2 sensor, kegger, plenum (since its off), tb mod, e-fan. hope to get more than 9MPG!
