Default ROAD TRIP

I have a 2000 ram quad cab with a tow package, it has 84,000 miles on it, just replaced front u-joints, rotors, rear pinion seal, steering intermediate shaft and sway bar links and changed the oil and tranny pan and filter. we are leaving for o.c. maryland in two weeks towing a 26 ft travel trailer which weighs about 4000 pounds dry. its about 400 miles 1 way. any tips would be appreciated. i only had this truck for about 4 months and had to replace all those parts, hope it makes the trip!

Try to keep it out of OD as much as possible, especially up grades. OD was not designed for hauling, and using it for that is hard on the transmission.

OD is bad when you pull and uhhh........heavy loads increase your stopping distance. Other than that, skinny pedal to the floor till you hit your destination, screw the big pedal on the left
