Default Need help choosing correct radiator

Hi all,

I've got a '97 5.9 liter and my radiator is leaking. Checking Carparts.com they show two radiators...which one do I get?

1) MODINE 1R2617 $291.92 Note: w/12 TOC (6 Plate)

or

2) MODINE 1R2465 $240.08 Note: w/14-3/8 TOC (COC)

Thanks!
-Marcus

I AM NOT SURE WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS BETWEEN THOSE TWO, BUT THE PARTS STORE LISTS TWO AS WELL. ONE IS FOR NORMAL DUTY, THE OTHER IS FOR "EXTREME SERVICE" LIKE A TOW TRUCK, PLOW TRUCK, OR A COP CAR.

I use the truck for my daily commute to work (12miles total) and about once a month I use it to pull a 2500lb car on a open two axle wood platform trailer across the "grapevine" north of LA (in other words up a decent grade for about 30 min.) and back. Would heavy duty one? Which one is it?

TOC STANDS FOR TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER. i DON'T KNOW IF THEY ARE INTERCHANGABLE OR IF YOUR TRUCK ONLY ACCEPTS ONE OF THESE. YOUR BEST BET IS TO LOOK AT THE TRANSMISSION LINS ON YOUR TRUCK AND SEE IF THEY WILL REACH A BIGGER OIL COOLER. THEY ARE MEASURED IN INCHES. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE THAT THE LARGER COOLER IS CHEEPER, BUT WHATEVER. LET ME KNOW IF THIS HELPS YOU OUT.
