I got mine from napa a year ago and seem to be holding up fine. I sware that has to be another defect lol...Both my buddys tailgate straps broke, both of mine broke, both of yours broke etc. Add that one to the list now.

When changing out the tailgate cables
spray the lower Torx bolt
with your favorite penetrating oil
and let it sit long enough to help out
as one of 1995's snapped off EXTREMELY easily
with little torque as it was unscrewed
and I suspect that
the factory air wrenches may have
over-torqued them,
similar to the way
many of the OEM sparkplugs have been too tight
spray the lower Torx bolt
with your favorite penetrating oil
and let it sit long enough to help out
as one of 1995's snapped off EXTREMELY easily
with little torque as it was unscrewed
and I suspect that

similar to the way
many of the OEM sparkplugs have been too tight
