Pulling the original 5.2 from my 97 & replacing it with a rebuilt 5.2 from a 95 . They look almost exactly the same, are they?

Just wondering if all of my current wires will plug right in or do I need to change anything. Is there anything from the 97 that is better that I should keep?

The wires will not plug in the same way. In 1996 they switched from OBD I to OBD II. Major computer difference. Major wiring difference. I'll let someone else go into the specifics if the want, but major electronics differences.
