01 2500 diesel changed water pump and wanted to do belt at the same time. Double checked new belt, same sizeas old. I cannot get the new belt on!? The idle pulley just doesn't let me pull it tight enough to get the pin on the pully into the bracket. I even tried a longer lever and broke the end off of the socket wrench. I'm sure it's something simple but I'm missing it. Yes I double checked routing and the belt is seated in all pulleys.
