Default Clearing a CEL

Can I pull the battery terminal to clear a CEL (P0753)? If not is there anyway to do it other than with a OBDII scan tool?

i dont know about a trick to clear it, but an ODBii scanner tool from advance auto is about $30-40 and is well worth the money. you have to read the scan codes out of a book or off a CD on a computer since it only displays error code #'s, but its saved me a lot of time and money from a repair shop by doing it myself.

Disconnecting the battery will clear codes, but if there is a problem, it'll just pop the same code again.
