Default Jerky Tranny

Does anybody know what couldcause a slightjerky feeling in 4th at about 40mph. I have a 99 Dodge Ram 5.2 4WD. I had the converter replaced and the pump rebuilt about a year ago. Thanks for any input!

40mph is not fast enough to even be in OD so you trying to force it to go into a gear that the vehical is not going fast enough to go into.

Of course you can hit OD going 40..

Is it enough to throw you around, or is just kinda lik e a chuckle? If its more lik e a chuckle, its 100% normal. I know when the transmission guy rebuilt the 46RE in my father's 98, he explaned the chuckle to us and what causes it, I think it had something to do with a seal on the input shaft, however I cannot remember...
