Default Im gunna miss her

Well my 94 dodge has gone to a new home. she was traded off for a 94 Jeep grand cherokee laredo. 4.0 straight 6, full time 4wd and more options then i could think of. granted i gained 15000 miles but i also got some benefits like better mpg to an extent, a cd player more room for lil man and 4wd. and ramsey is in town so i can see it when ever. Edit: its been fun in the 2nd gen forum now im off to the jeep section. maybe come tax season i'll have another ram but this time it'll be a cummins

If you were getting less than 15 or 16 mpg in your Ram. you might save a little gas. That GC will be doing good to get that much. My brothers has 88k miles on a 98 and he has quit driving it. He gets 17-18 mpg on the highway and 16 tops in the city and his is part time 4wd. Your AWD is probably going to be even lower. My 98 1500 2wd QC gets 16 mpg overall, almost identical to my brothers GC with the 6 cyl.

p.s. My Ram has the 318. Those 4.0L's are notoriously gas hungry.

Sad to hear the Ram is bye-bye, but I'm a huge Jeep fan myself. I've had a CJ, Wrangler, and my current daily driver is my 4th Grand Cherokee, a 2002 Overland. The first three were the wife's (now ex-wife) ride, an '94 Limited, '98 Laredo & an '02 Laredo Sport 4x4 - all with the venerable old 4.0 I6 engine. She took the '02 with her when we split in '05, so I went out and got me one with more toys.

Post some pics in the Jeep section, there's a sticky up top. I know the old 4.0 like the back of my hand, I've had four with the GC's and Wrangler, and have experimented with different spark plugs and other standard tune-up parts as well as mods to know what it likes for optimum performance and MPG's. It's true, that 4.0 is a bit gas hungry, I actually get a bit better mileage with my 4.7 H.O. V8 in the Overland than the '02 Sport 4x4 got with the I6.
Start a post in that section or PM me and I'll give you a heads up on things that I found out if you're interested.

Sorry to hear about the trade but congrats on the new vehicle.

Hope you get what you expect from it.

well so far a couple issues but what do you expect with a 175k vehicle. oddly enough the guy that has the ram now also has a 2001 4x4 2nd gen reg cab short box with a 6in lift, 3inbody and 35in mudders, a 360 with a hypertech, true duals, flowmaster super 40s and 110,000 miles lol. its his muddin toy/winter rig. my what used to be truck is his basic transportation/work truck now lol.
