Default Might be looking for a Ram...

Some of you know ive got my 83 camaro project ive been working on down here in South Florida during the summer. I go back to Ohio here in a few days and the car isn't quite ready, plus I don't really want to drive it in the winter anyways. So, we have been throwing around the idea of getting a pickup for me to drive in the winter. I want a Dakota or a ram, preferably a 2nd gen ram. However, my camaro project has taken most of my money (about 6 grand, lol), I don't have a whole lot to spend. With that said, my price range will be very limited ($500-$2000 +or-.) So if anyone has anything for sale, or sees anything in my price range in the South Florida or Ohio area (preferably Ohio), let me know.

Jr. you're a young man, if you gotta have a truck get the Dakota.

Unless you really need the towing/hauling capacity for work or making side money plowing, get a more fuel efficient truck so you've got some pocket change and enjoy being young and cruising and chasing girls. Gas ain't going down to "normal" any time soon, no sense blowing that out the tailpipe unless you have to.

I LOVE my Ram, have since the day I bought it new with 00006 miles on the odo. But, there's one time that I want to drive the thing into the lake: at the gas pump. I hemorrhage a Benjamin into the tank 2-3 times a month and it kills me. If this thing wasn't completely free and clear paid for, I'd be done with it.

Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I know what your saying, but I really want a ram, ive been driving my father's 98 all sumer and I LOVE it. I also really want a full size truck, not to mention with my camaro, I had better get used to the bad fuel mileage, lol.
