Default Gear Stacking?

I am having trouble with gears in my 97 Ram. Built a 426 stroker with 4:88 gear ratio and keep rippin teeth off the ring gear. I kept thinking it was bad gears. A freind of mine said his Ford 9 inch was doing the same thing until he got a different carrier. He said that the previous carrier was causing gear stacking from a stand still or slow moving take off which was hurting the gears( also ring gear teeth) Does anyone know if someone makes a different carrier for these trucks? The carrier in it now is from Randy Ring and Pinion when I installed 4:56 gears. I haven't clled Randy's (little pissed with them at the moment). Just wondering if anyone has seen this problem or know anything about a different carrier. thanks.

Who's been doing the installation?
Usually the pinion is the weak point.
What kind or torque does your engine put out?

Trust me...set is on the money. I never had the motor dynoed, but its bad! the pinion is hold up fine. the ring gear is taking the beating.

Dana Spicer makes the strongest gears for your money. If your running 35 spline axles, better go with a chromoly ring set up. It will never break. Also stay away from Yukon and Genuine. Overseas crap. Overall, the best carrier is a detroit full for that kind of torque.
