I have never had any issues with them affecting performance and I have used them on several different vehicles.

+1 that's where I got mine. I ordered one and he said they were back ordered and he thought they should be in in about 2 weeks or so. I called 2 weeks and he said they were still on back order and they were still telling him 2 weeks. I'm not sure how long after that it was until I got an email from Protool or whatever it is saying my item had shipped. I didn't know what it was but then found out that's what it was and that was his company or what he shipped it through or whatever. It probably all in all took a month or so to get but I'm not exactly how long it took.

I got it to just make sure a CEL didn't come on with a hi flow cat. I needed a rear o2 sensor anyway and these were a similar price and I figured it would make sure a CEL didn't come on which it didn't so I didn't really need this but I used it anyway.

YES!

The O2 sim tells the PCM that the cat is working VERY efficiently. The problem comes when the cat actually does break down, the O2 sim will still tell the PCM everything is great.

Never used a simulator but have done the "non-foulers" twice on my own rides and maybe a half dozen times for other people. The rear O2s simply verify that the exhaust is cleaner than when it passed the front O2s. Therefore, the $5 non-fouler which basically just backs the sensor out of the direct flow of the exhaust fools the PCM into thinking everything is fine. Sims are fine, I know people who have them, but the non-foulers are a mere fraction of the cost, almost as easy to install and I've yet to have them not work either...
I may still have a set already made up, I cut the cats out when I did the LT headers in my Hemi, but after a couple of days the slight loss of low end did not make me happy, so I re-cut in and welded the cats back on, extended the O2 sensor wires and no longer needed the non-foulers. If someone wants them to try, I'll look to see if I still have them, I can't see me throwing out something like that...

This seems to be for the rear sensor only...what about the front? Can that one be overruled?

From everything I've read it says the front one is needed as it's the one that sets the A/F ratio.

OK, that makes sense, but on a true dual exhaust, I would need a sensor for the other bank, right? Does anyone know where that one would plug in?

Just bumping it up... right now, I have one pre cat sensor and one post cat sensor... I am definitely gonna get some simulators for the rears, but I want a true dual, no crossover exhaust. Heavy-duty 5.9L engines had quad sensors, does my harness have a plug for the other bank?

From what I gathered from previous posts, unless your engine is really pushing some power true dualing these engines will not actually benefit you. I have a 98 Sport 4X4 with the 5.9 auto ytrans with 4:56 gears and when asking about O2 sensors, placement, ect. that came up. I was directed to the Jegs website for the Magna Flow Y pipe with free flow cat attached. So is the data I'm reading abouve the latest in regards to losing power by dualing out my rig? I do plan on putting shorty headers on the 5.9L.
