Default Help me decide

Here in the nex couple weeks I'm gonna be tearing the engine down. I want to clean stuff up while its off. Heres where I need insite. I am pondering what I want to do with the inte while its off. I have 2 options polish it, or paint it. If I paint it, it would be with the high temp aluinmum with high temp clear coat (trust me if you've never painted with that color the clear makes it look totally different).

Now if I polish it I should probably polish all the brackets that need to come off. I have done minor polishing on my GT engine parts. I'm not the best at it but I bought an actual buffer so that should help.

The farther plans are to repaint the valve covers. Most likely with the High temp Ford Blue. Unless I can't reuse them.

Whats your thoughts??

I like the looks and texture of the natural aluminum. Mine is off the truck now, so I'm going to clean it up with a bronze wire wheel and hit it with some of that hi-temp clear coat you mentioned. All this after performing the kegger mod of course.

I'm going to save a some money and keep the factory valve covers. I like the fact they already have the baffles. Probably paint those a silver gray to dress them up a little.
