So it pulls all the way to redline or does it neutralize?

Your TV cable my be out of adjustment to adjust you will need a 0-70psi gage and tap it into the middle port on transmission located on passenger side. Block tire and set e-brake with gage in place place transmission in drive and adjust cable till gage reads between 45psi-65psi then test drive truck and see if that help you may need to fine tune the psi to get the shift you need but don't go below 45psi and don't go above 65psi. Information was given to me by Accurate Transmission/Probuilt/Bullet prof transmission Co.

So, you're planning on driving at WOT all the way back to school?
Must be in a big hurry!

Sorry, I don't have the answer. Does it run ok when not at WOT?

Mine does the exact same thing but only for 1st gear at WOT. I drive it normally and it will shift normally but at the track if i dont let off the gas just a little over redline it will just go to the limiter. All of my other gears are ok. any idea what it is, not meaning to steal a thread but i thought it would be a wast to open a new one when its nearly the exact question.

is that whats happening to you Mowhawk?

There are no direct vacuum controls on the transmission. Upshifts are controlled by governor pressure, TV pressure works to counter act governor pressure. So if your tv pressure is too high at WOT then it would cause it to stay in a gear.

First i would check the TV adjustment with a gauge as stated above.
