Default Need some ideas

95 1500 w/5.2. Started fine, ran for half hour shut it off came back in 10 min. crank but no start. popped the hood to start looking for a problem, tried again and it started and ran good. Got the truck home shut off, no start again.
Next day, checked it out. I show a cam position sensor code, but I also seem to have very low fuel pressure. I jumped the ASD relay and the fuel pump relay will energize. Checked the voltage on the CPS 7 volts in, 0 out when cranking. So according to the book the CPS is bad, would that cause a shutdown situation and kill the fuel pump?
I have checked engine grounds, but not sure where the PCM is grounded. Also checked connectors, all look good.
Any one have some ideas? thanks, Greg
