Default tranny acting up

My transmission isnt shifting down to first at stop signs. When i take off, it is in second and i have to let-off to allow it to downshift. Then it does it kinda rough. Its been doin this about half the time, less when its warmed up. No codes thrown. No other trouble. If i shift it manually, it works just fine. I just had a tranny flush with a synthetic blend in july. Any ideas?

My 98 use to do that once in a while, until I adjusted the TV cable and bands. But you have two other probs! #1 Tranny flush, and #2 the only fluid you put in that tranny is ATF+4. I recommend you pull the pan now, and change the filter and fluid.

First off, what i meant by tranny flush was that the pan was pulled, filter changed, seals checked, tranny refilled with synthetic blend ATF+4 equivalent. Maybe it is the fluid causing the problem, but the tranny was serviced completely. Any other ideas? i will look into that one

Do the aforementioned adjustments. Then see what happens.
