Default help guys?!

For my next upgrade what should I do, I have a flowmaster 40 series, but nothing else to the exhaust, I have been looking at a fastman, and debating headers, but which should I do first?? Also, gut the cat or just cut it out? I can pay the 80$ for the sim from fastman. I just want to open it up more. so basically the question becomes headers or fastman? or is there something else I should attack first? I have a K&N filter but not a CAI.

well to be honest, and i am about to start a thread for this, i recently had problems with my exhaust, cat broke apart inside and plugged the flo, wouldnt run, so i took the exhaust off, cat back, and gutted the cat, its loud ad hell( almost illegal) and sucks on gas now, so i dont know if its becasue i have absolutally no back pressure, or if its cause the O2 sensors are all kinds of ****ed up, i know the mopar headers would be a great start, you can get them on ebay cheap, and really good

Get a Magnaflow cat. and the Fastman TB. Besides the fact they look nice and sound good/different, I don't see anyone here raving about how much of a performance gain they have gotten with headers over the Mag. Cat. and the Fastman TB. If anything go with shorty's so you don't lose any bottom end. You probably have 3:55's, so the last thing you want is to lose bottom end.

yeah, i do have the 3:55s so Im sure you are right. Which magnaflow cat?? And the 50 mm will be best for my truck with the fastman because I have the 5.2? Im excited to try this out, how does it affect sound as well? I want to deepen my tone and get more throaty volume

I got mine from Jegs, direct fit Magnaflow. It will be a lot louder,(atleast mine is). And you'll love the Fastman. And yes the 50mm is the recommended TB for the 5.2.
