Default When did they quit making the truck plugs for the Rams?

Had done a search earlier today on the best plugs, and seemed like the majority opinion was the Champion Truck plug. Went to get a set, and after the third parts house, was told that they were no longer being made, and the double platinum was the replacement. Ended up getting them, but curious if anyone else has used the doubles and feel they are an adequate replacement?

I'd double check with Champion first before you give up. You can always order parts online. 4436 or 4071 is the correct P/N depending on your model year

4436's are what I was trying to find. Must have recently quit making them then. Checked four different parts houses, including Napa, and the first 3 said they could no longer order them. Napa said they were discontinued and the double plat's were the equiv.

Thanks for the heads up, but I'll probably just give the double plats a shot. Had a lot of rain here lately and the truck started acting up. Just turned 60k so figure a tune up should take care of it. Just prefer to do it tomorrow and be done.

plats haven't worked very well for me in my engine,

But the NGK V-powers have been very nice to me.
