160 thermostat?

Default 160 thermostat?

autozone has 160 and 180 thermostats....is the 160 too much? especially with winter comin?

Yup that's what I was going to say. Doesn't the 160 throw codes? I've never tried it so can't comment but was thinking I'd read numerous times they do. I'd stick with a 180 or a stock 195.

160 is a guaranteed code.
some people get a code with a 180, i think most don't.

tried the 160.yep got a code.no problems with the 180.

the 160 will also stay open most if not all of the time when your truck is running at that temp and decrease gas milage by a good bit.
