Help Please

I traded for a 1997 Dakota 4X4 , it currently has a blown 5.2 L Magnum engine. I need to know if I can swap it out with a regular 5.2 L or do I have to go back with a 5.2 L Magnum.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
