on my 99 sport everything is factory. the normal lights stay on and the second high beam bulbs stay on also when your high beams are on only ones that go off are the fog lights.

I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong) the sport headlamps fit in the same space the regular ones do. You need the housings, two sets of bulbs (the original 9004s plus 9007s for high beams), two wiring harnesses (easily obtainable from any auto parts store), and some wire (preferably 14 gauge).

Might also be a good time to do the whole relay trick, giving your headlight switch in the cab a break and using relays to route power straight from the battery to your headlights. Makes the lights a little brighter to.

I know on my 00 sport when i turned the high beams on the lows shut off. Unless you modify it thats how they came from the dealership. I did the mod so my lows stay on when i turn on the highs.

jason.w your right. I stole my parts off a wrecked truck heading for the scrapper, Had my friend hook them up, took him about 15min but hes really good with electrics so im not sure what it would take someone like me with min skills. Only thing is I had HID's standing by so I did not need another set of bulbs.
