i have a 2001 ram 1500 360 V8. Will removing my muffler increase mpg and make my truck louder

It will make it louder. I doubt you would see a mpg difference though.

You will lose gas mileage. You will like the sound, rev it up a bunch more than normal, and waste gas.

I know what you're thinking, "But squirrels, what if I don't rev it?" You will, they all do....

i agree with the squir... you will rev it... it's like a car crash.. you can't help but look... but ladies love loud jacked up trucks!!! they say they don't but they do.. I have a 3"i/o flowmaster 40 on mine and i didn't really notice that big of a change.. i get about 1+mpg on the highway.. but lets face it.. it's a big *** truck.. with a big *** motor... you're mpg are going to suck not matter what you do!... try using magic and snake oil for better mpg! lol good luck
